Barking Mad uses the latest scientifically proven techniques in positive reinforcement training combined with a focus on building and maintaining a healthy and positive relationship with your dog to achieve the ultimate training experience.

Barking Mad offers basic, intermediate and advanced obedience as well as behavior modification using the latest, science driven positive reinforcement training methods.

Group classes:

  • Basic Adult   $150
    • 60-90 minute lessons held on a weekly basis for 7 weeks.
    • No more than 5 dogs per class, no less than 2
    • Ages 6 months and older
    • Includes Focus, Sit, Down, Stand, Loose leash walking, Heel, Wait, Leave it, Recall (coming when called), Boundaries and Stay. With a focus on relationship building, attentiveness and impulse control.
  • Intermediate Adult   $150
    • 60-90 minute lessons held on a weekly basis of 7 weeks.
    • No more than 5 dogs per class, no less than 2
    • Ages 6 months and older
    • Proof basic obedience cues by increasing distance, distraction and duration. Intense focus on impulse control and attentiveness. Prerequisite: Basic obedience.
  • Advanced Adult   $150
    • 60-90 minute lessons held on a weekly basis for 7 weeks
    • No more than 5 dogs per class, no less than 2
    • Ages 6 months and older
    • Practice your obedience skills in a real world setting. Field trips to local parks and businesses. Prerequisites for this class are Basic and intermediate obedience and/or completed AKC CGC.

In Home Training:

  • Puppy Basics   $350
    • One on one 60-90 minute lessons held on a weekly basis for 6 weeks.
    • Ages 8 weeks – 6 months
    • Tailored to meet specific needs of the clients
    • Open scheduling
    • Includes Name learning, Focus, Sit, Down, Stand, Loose leash walking, Wait, Leave it, Recall (coming when called), Specific Boundary training and Stay with a focus on impulse control and attentiveness. Hands on puppy proofing, crate training, potty training, mouthing and nipping as well as other common behavior problems.
  • Intermediate Puppy   $350
    • One on one 60-90 minute lessons held on a weekly basis for 6 weeks
    • Ages 8 weeks- 6 months
    • Tailored to meet specific needs of the clients
    • Open scheduling

Behavior Modification training using positive reinforcement and conditioning to modify undesirable behaviors that include but are not limited to barking, digging, jumping, anxiety, fearfulness, resource guarding, aggression and pulling on leash. Behavior Modification will be offered as private lessons only.
