On October 10th, Cheyenne Animal Control officers were dispatched to a home in the 316 Central Avenue Area where they discovered two dogs that had been left to fend for themselves with no food or water. The animals were severely emaciated and only hours away from death.

The dogs are now in the 24-hour care of the in-house medical team at the Cheyenne Animal Shelter and are in stable condition.   Officers are trying to locate the owner – Roy Burnett.  What is known is that he left the dogs in the care of a person who goes by the name of “Indio.”

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of either Roy Burnett or “Indio” are asked to contact Cheyenne Animal Control at 307-635-1453.
