Welcome to the Cheyenne Animal Shelter’s new website! We are excited for the opportunity to spend the past several months working to refresh and update our site in order to better serve you, the pets, and our community. I sincerely hope you’ll spend some time looking around.

This weekend was so busy with many adoptions, our annual Fur Ball, and our 9 newest puppies settling in with their sweet mom. Here are some updates we’d love to share to kick off the week:

A quick update today on the large breed dog hoarding case. We have been overwhelmed in the best possible way with the outpouring of support. I’ll get to all of the ways you’ve made this an amazing week at the shelter, but first, I’ll attempt to answer some questions that have popped up too.
